IN Appalachia is a program of the Appalachian Council for Innovation (ACI), a nonprofit organization that promotes regional unity and supports STEAM initiatives across Southwest Virginia and the broader Appalachian region.
Members of IN Appalachia receive complimentary membership in ACI, gaining access to the full ACI member directory, reduced ticket rates for ACI events, and an invitation to the annual gala.
The Appalachian Council for Innovation has received national recognition for its work, including efforts to bring Starlink satellite internet to public schools across Southwest Virginia.
